Alaina + Will [wedding]

Alaina is a beautiful gal, which easily translated into a very beautiful bride. Together, Alaina and Will were such a fun couple to work with! It’s great to see them interact with each other as both companions and lovers. They definitely have an awesome, supportive community of friends and family, which made for a fun celebration. The wedding took place in Manchester and then we got to stop at the scenic Backbone State Park on our way to the reception in Edgewood.

Blessings on the journey ahead you two!! ๐Ÿ™‚

The Marckmann Clan [family]

I had the pleasure of photographing the Marckmann family following my senior session with Katie (see previous post). I told them I was going to have to use them as examples for how to plan the perfect family attire for a photo session. ๐Ÿ˜€ It was a lot of fun being able to capture the whole family, as this can become more challenging when a family member graduates and starts the next chapter. They were so easy-going and full of smiles, despite what a WARM night it was. I was grateful to have a travel size pack of kleenex in my camera bag to have handy about half-way through. ๐Ÿ™‚ These guys are all pretty great… Thanks for the fun night, Marckmann family. I hope you enjoy the images…

Katie [Senior]

I knew at the end of my session with Katie she was going to make my job very difficult by having to narrow down all the images. Because she’s so DARN CUTE. And, I’m not sure she can take a bad photograph… ha! I know Katie from Zion Lutheran Church in Des Moines, [the church I used to go to and got married in] and she and her family are such a great group. I had the pleasure of capturing some family photos after the senior session, which I will be posting soon!

Being the first one to leave home, I know her family will greatly miss her. But, I know Katie will spread her wings and continue to follow the path God has for her as she moves on to the next chapter. I’m sure she will be a blessing in the new circles of people she becomes apart of. Shining with the light of Christ, she truly is beautiful inside and out.
