Adam is a senior at Waterloo West High School who has been swimming since he was 6 months old. I’ve known him since he was a little guy, running around at Ascension Lutheran Church, which we are both a part of. According to his mom, they threw him in the pool at 6 months (with a floatation device of some sort) and gave him the opportunity to start swimmin’! I love it. Adam swims competitively as well as on the Waterloo West High School swim team. Having competition in his nature, he took on a triathlon two summers ago and this fall, decided to run cross country at West for the first time. He’s a talented athlete, but also a great guy. His future plans are to pursue paramedics and see what doors open from there. I wish him the best for his senior year and the exciting adventures to come! I have a feeling there are some cool things God has planned for his future…
*Note: The last image is his Eagle Scout project which is a really cool prayer garden outside our church that he and his brother, Josh teamed up on.
