This crossfit family is so at home at the gym, it didn’t make sense to capture their photos anywhere else. Sarah and Armand McCormick own “The Gym” Crossfit Kilo in Cedar Falls, IA and are both incredible all-around athletes. They spend many hours training and coaching at “The Gym” from early in the morning to late at night. They are looked up to by many as they both competed on the kilo team that placed 6th last summer at “The Games”–a world-wide crossfit competition to find the “fittest on earth”. I love that they are already teaching their son a few crossfit tricks… he is actually pretty good at burpees! I really enjoyed capturing them in their home away from home. Enjoy!
It was fun being able to capture these senior photos on one of the last beautiful fall days of the year. Meredith is a senior at Valley Lutheran High School and is still figuring out what direction she wants to go following graduation. I was happy to be able to capture some colorful images in the great outdoors at George Wyth State Park in Cedar Falls, IA. She has a beautiful smile and laid-back personality which made her an easy subject! 😀 God’s blessings on the rest of your senior year and the journey ahead, Meredith!

This beautiful black matte leather wedding album is available as a parent album in a 5×5 or 8×8 size. This gives parents a great opportunity to purchase the same spreads their child will be getting, but it is theirs to keep!
I just wanted to share these images, because print products are really important to me and how I approach my photography business. In today’s society, the digital world is taking over, but I still feel that there is incomparable value in printed products. For all of my clients, I want them to take something away from their session or wedding with more than just digital files. I want them to have something tangible that they can share with their kids and grandkids, beyond just telling everyone to “gather around the computer to look at these Facebook photos…!” I am a photographer and designer myself, and I admit that I am the worst when it comes to printing my own images. Even if people have the best intentions, things get busy and it’s easy to put off. That’s why I value printed products and I hope my clients appreciate the service I provide and professional quality products that they get to walk away with.

Awesome!
